The suite was well insulated and very comfortable for our group.

It was impossible to adjust the heating for our early morning start.

Location: the hotel was just off a footpath, the Cholmondeley castle and beautiful surroundings. Also, it was 5 min drive from Cheshire Wildlife Trust.

Excellent base for 1 night. Milk, slices of fresh bread, cereal and jam for breakfast, nice touch. Exceptionally nice and absolutely perfect location with parking on site. Near chester as well as beautiful surroundings. The hotel of choice in Bickley.

The suite offers a amazing level of comfort, perfect for a cozy getaway. The selection of board games and books made for a perfect evening in, a bonus when we considered skipping other plans.

The double bed creaked a bit, though it remained surprisingly comfortable for one person. Breakfast was advertised as light, and while we got cereal, yogurt, bread, milk, and orange juice for a few days, the items weren't replaced . Unfortunately, we ended up buying extras on our own since we ran out. Not a big deal, but a heads-up about the limited breakfast supplies would have been nice.

Perfect Location with All the Comforts

The suite was equipped with a fridge, microwave, and even breakfast ingredients. The host was friendly and accommodating, everything was perfect for my arrival. The only downside was that I found it a bit challenging to adjust the heating for the early morning chill.

    early start

The suite was super spacious and comfy! The bed felt great, and there was plenty of room for us to chill. Loved the countryside views from the windows. The place felt really private even though it's attached to the main house. A nice touch with games and books to use too. The only downside was the heating-it didn't adjust for our early morning, but the suite itself was really well insulated.

    great stay but minor challenges

The countryside views from the suite were fine. The friendliness of the host added a warm touch to our experience.

The suite could benefit from a bit more modern decor to enhance the overall feel.

    designated dining

I spent two nights at Moss Cottage and loved it. The guest accommodation connected to the charming countryside home felt cozy and cute. I had a double bedroom and a spacious lounge. The décor was modern, which I appreciated. The wetroom shower was fantastic-just what I needed. Breakfast was self-serve but well arranged, with all the essentials like toast and cereal easily available. Free off-road parking was easy. I enjoyed watching the cows and calves in the nearby fields. One downside was the absence of a designated dining area, which would have made breakfast a bit more comfortable. A lovely stay, thanks to the friendly owners, who were attentive without being intrusive. Definitely a spot I recommend for couples or families.

    great location
    friendly host

Moss cottage was super cozy with great views from all windows. The self-contained annex had all the comforts we needed for our 1 night stay. We loved having a fridge and microwave. The continental breakfast items were a nice touch. The host was super friendly, and there was tons of parking space , made everything easy. Definitely felt private and peaceful even though it was next to the main house.

Charming Stay with Minor Comfort Issues

The double bed could use some maintenance due to creaky noises. An onsite breakfast option away from the room would have enhanced our experience. Perfect for couples seeking a cozy retreat!
